Much research has been done on fixed implant prostheses. All this research mainly concerns screw or cement prostheses, where the implants must be placed in parallel in order to be successful.

However, several questions arise, such as: How passive are these implant prostheses? Are the masticatory forces exerted evenly on all implants? How many degrees of non-parallelism can they withstand? How easy are they to remove when they need to be checked or repaired? How does the placement of these fixed prostheses in soft tissue or the use of cement affect their long-term success? How can the forces acting on the implants be reduced with immediate loading?

The innovative fixed OT Rhein83 technique was developed not only to solve all these problems that dentists have to deal with on a daily basis, but also to turn all the disadvantages of fixed implant prosthetics into advantages.

Characteristics of OT Fixed Implant-Prosthesis:

• All work is performed outside the soft tissue.
• Completely passive implant-prosthesis on implants.
• Treatment of non-parallelism greater than 85 degrees.
• It does not matter if the implants are not parallel.
• Only part of the masticatory forces are exerted on implants.
• No screw problems in the aesthetic zone.
• No use of cement or screws.
• Best solution for immediate load.
